Kallisti Percussion is located at the forest home of Bruce Scherer, in Orange Massachusetts. Bruce is an active member of the North Quabbin Woods Collaborative, a group of landowners, foresters, lumbermen, carpenters and artisans devoted to creating a sustainable economy in the region based on local forest and agricultural products. The hardwoods used in crafting Kallisti marimba resonator boxes and floor stands are all locally harvested and milled.
